Three of us stayed in a two bed studio for my daughter’s graduation. There for 4 days, we had an amazing time!

The property was beautiful. The beach was maintained daily removing sea weed as we traveled during the time when sea weed is high. The activities were great, the staff was amazing and the drinks were delicious. We made great memories.

The food. It was okay. Nothing to write home about.

What was the highlight of Iberostar Selection Coral Cancún

Very Good

Resort is very beautiful with coral level rooms all face the ocean and they were very spacious rooms. Food was very good most of the time except for the Japanese restaurant which was way below American Japanese restaurant standards especially since it took an hour and a half to eat our meal in there. Was the most impossible to get a layout spot around the pool unless you get up at 8:00 in the morning but there were always chairs available out near the ocean and even ones with umbrellas at most times. We ate at the Italian restaurant twice and being Coral level was able to get main lobster when other types of lobsters were not available while we were there and bogavante, which is European Lobster with substituted. Steak restaurant was also very good but beware that their steaks are more lean and what is in America probably because they're only grass-fed and not grain-fed but I don't know. Best way to travel from this resort to other locations in Cancun is to Uber by far, way cheaper than taxis but almost the same experience you just have to make sure you tell the Iberostar employee at the pickup location so the security guards up front can let your Uber driver in.

I didn't like that I had to beg for water in my room all the time. There's no drinkable water unless you're brought glass bottles of it and I asked for four several times and I would only be brought to like they had a bottle shortage or something. I got where I started hoarding Water by putting it in different containers and even wine because you're only allowed one bottle of wine from room service a day. Also one evening I accidentally broke a wine glass by knocking it off a shelf onto the floor and cleaned most of it up myself into a pile but had nothing to pick it up with but when room service came in the next day they still left glass all over our floor and didn't even fully clean up the pile of glass I had left near the refrigerator. Very disappointing about that since I think I left the person $3 tip for their extra trouble. Overall the rooms are not cleaned very well each day but beds were just turned down and other things done to give the appearance the room was cleaned up. I think with just a little extra care on room service and provide accessible water on every floor this could be an excellent Resort with a 9 out of 10 or maybe even 10 out of 10 rating for the cost.

Here's how they made our stay magical: Immaculate Cleanliness: From the moment we arrived, the Coral Level's commitment to cleanliness was evident. Every inch of the property was immaculately maintained, ensuring our comfort and peace of mind throughout our stay. Expansive Property: Exploring the vast grounds hand in hand, we discovered secluded spots and breathtaking views. The property's size added an extra layer of romance and adventure to our honeymoon, making it feel like our own private paradise. Access to Iberostar: Access to the larger Iberostar resort added endless possibilities for dining, relaxation, and entertainment. We enjoyed sampling the various restaurants, lounging by the pools, and participating in the exciting activities available. Abundance of Entertainment: Our days were filled with laughter and joy thanks to the incredible entertainers. Among them, Alex stood out with their exceptional performances. Alex's charisma, infectious personality, and genuine warmth made us feel like good friends from the moment we met. Pedro and Diego were equally fantastic, adept at involving guests and keeping the energy high throughout the performances. William's Exceptional Service: We can't forget to mention William, the pool manager, whose hard work and dedication were evident as he tirelessly ensured that guests were taken care of. Every time he saw us passing by, he made it a point to check in and ask how our stay was going. A great all inclusive experience in a beautiful location

The hotel is beautiful- the reception, the bar, the restaurant, the pool and beach area. The rooms are also fantastic, incredibly spacious and light, and the views to the sea from all rooms are amazing (we were on one of the lower levels and we loved the view from f the sea). The jacuzzi bath on three balcony is a great addition. The staff are great: Ty, Maria, Terisista, Fernando, Irma, Yoania- all couldn’t help enough. The drinks and service at Coral Level are fantastic, as is the restaurant on site. Some of the restaurants at the main site are great, we enjoyed the Steakhouse, American Bistro and Hibachi restaurant. Room service is included, 24/7. The entertainment team are great at keeping things fun during the day- we especially loved Fernanda.

The only reason I’ve rated 9 instead of ten is that I think their room policy is crazy. We booked a year in advance and requested a king bed (it was Valentines and our wedding anniversary during our trip). I’d also emailed 6 weeks before arriving to remind them we really wanted a king bed. On arrival we were given a twin room as bookings are “subject to availability”. When you’re paying what you’re paying, it’s just not good enough. Thankfully they moved us into a king room on day 2, but it’s totally avoidable if their booking system just allowed you to book available king or twin rooms. It was not a great start to the trip!

This resort is the best value in Cancun. Fantastic!

Beautiful resort and extremely clean. Rooms were really nice, especially bathrooms. Best shower ever! Service was so good. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate any need. The food was by far the best of any all inclusive we have stayed at. Fresh seafood every day at lunch and dinner. Buffet was top notch, great selections and high quality. We also ate almost every meal outdoors looking over the pool and beach. Entertainment was also good and one of the entertainment directors Alex was lots of fun and so good at his job. We traveled with 2 other couples and we loved this resort so much we are all returning next year.

Hydrotherapy at spa was not great. Not nearly as good as some other resorts in Cancun and some of the equipment didn’t work.

Amazing stay

The food choice is amazing, the staff is super hospitable and polite, ready to help at once. The territory is very beautiful, and so many activities that you always have smth new to try. I’ve been to many all inclusive 5 stars, this one really impressed me, I will definitely come back!!

The waves on this side of the hotel zone peninsula are pretty high, which we didnt know about, and it’s not really the hotels issue. It’s just smth to be aware of. We swam with masks(to protect eyes mostly from salty water) in the days with big waves and it was great.

Gorgeous and can’t wait to go back!

We loved this resort as much as we hoped to. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is fantastic and friendly and the food was better than expected.

The rooms are far too cold!! Yes it’s hot and humid in Cancun but the rooms could be 1-2 degrees C warmer still. I came home so sick from the frigid and freezing rooms
